We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our Sales Team in Quebec.
 
Reporting to the Branch Administrator, the Sales Assistant will assist Financial advisors in daily operations of managing client relationships to ensure a high level of all-inclusive sales and service.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
·         Assist the investment advisors in their administrative tasks.
·         Maintain excellent client service by answering client calls, providing information and helping solving problems.
·         Execute buy and sell orders for clients according to the advisors' recommendations or client request.
·         Verification of daily activity in accounts and review of previous day’s transactions (Trades, debits, transfers, errors, etc).
·         Process client's requests and ensure follow up for tasks as such cheque deposit, account transfers, RRSP contributions, etc.
·         Communicate with Operations Department for administrative needs, questions and problems.
·         Mailing and emailing research, information and various application forms to clients and maintain clients’ mailing lists and file client information.
·         Ensure client’s accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation.
·         Assist in marketing initiatives.
 
 
Knowledge & Skills Required:
 
·         Minimum CEGEP in finance or business administration.
·         Completion of the Canadian Security Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) course.
·         A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the brokerage industry.
·         Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
·         Fluently bilingual.
·         Strong organizational and time-management skills.
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·         Good analytical and problem solving skills.
·         Must have excellent initiative and ability to work autonomously.
