Samuel B.H. MacCallum
- Biography:
Sam MacCallum started his financial career in 1989 with a major Canadian chartered bank in Toronto. He moved to the investment side of the business in 1992, with a leading Canadian investment dealer. In 2000 he joined Canada’s oldest independent investment firm: MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier Inc. Founded in 1849, MacDougall proudly celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2009.
Sam is registered as an investment advisor in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia, assisting families, individuals, estates, and corporations achieve their financial goals and objectives. On occasion, Sam has been asked to comment on the financial markets for CBC television.

Sam has long been involved with many activities outside the financial community. He has been on the Council of Trustees at Stanstead College for over a decade, and has helped to fundraise for numerous civic causes. Most recently Sam has joined the steering committee at MacDougall assisting in the firm’s new partnership with Portage, a community based organization. He is bilingual (English and French) and is pleased to serve clients in the language of their choice.
