- Biography:
Derek has 15 years of experience as a wealth manager.
In 1994 Derek earned the FCSI (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute) and CIM (Certified Investment Manager) designations. He has been a Portfolio Manager since 1996.
In 2004 Derek was asked to join the Board of Directors of MacDougall and has served on various committees including the Executive Committee and is presently a Managing Director.
In April 2007 Derek was awarded the rank of Shodan (1st degree blackbelt) in Shotokan Karate, further strengthening his focus and approach to business.
