I graduated from Dalhousie University with a bachelor of science in economics and a minor in math in 2001. I have been an employee of MacDougall since April 2004, and involved in the financial industry in part since I graduated.
I have been the Toronto branch manager at 3macs since 2006, and thoroughly enjoy the challenge of managing a sales force as well as tending to the needs of my individual clients.
I pride myself on good communication and maintaining an objective opinion in every scenario.
I consider myself a value investor, who’s primary objective is the preservation of capital. I am currently an associate portfolio manager, which allows me to offer my clients fee based discretionary management. I work very closely with Laird Grantham, one of MacDougall’s elite portfolio managers. Laird was once the director of research here at 3Macs, but made the move to portfolio management in 2000.
